Job summary

Digital Room Inc. in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Folder Operator Level I for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will load jobs into IMS, set up folding machines for bifold and trifold, and monitor runs to ensure accurate folds.

You will replace worn parts, record production data, and follow safety policies. Overtime may be required; strong problem solving and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced print environment.

Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
• Place printed jobs on the folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.
• Observe the folding machine while running to ensure a smooth and accurate fold.
• Replace worn-out rubber stoppers and adjust for accurate folds using hand tools.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system.
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure equipment, tools, and workstations are safe and in good order.
• Work overtime as needed and complete other duties as assigned.
