Job summary

Wingate Packaging in Washington Court House is seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to lead safety, quality and productivity during the production of paperboard packaging. You will supervise a team and ensure adherence to procedures and customer specifications.

The role requires reading production orders, setting up and operating the folder/gluer, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives. Full-time position based in Ohio with potential for growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 2 years of Folder/Gluer experience on Bobst or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies to the Plant Manager.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear designated uniform.
• Operate folder/gluer to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Read production orders and produce products to specifications.
• Set up and calibrate barcode scanners, glue detectors and jam sensors.
• Train assistants and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Record production and quality data and maintain clean work area.
