Independent Printing & Packaging is seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to join our machine finishing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor fold and glue equipment to meet production schedules and quality specs.

You will review job tickets, adjust machines, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. The role requires attention to detail, safety focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment across first or second shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fold and glue equipment or similar.
• Able to read and interpret job tickets and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Make-ready, setup, adjustments, and operation of fold and glue equipment to meet production schedules and safety standards.
• Review job tickets and work instructions to determine quantities, stock, and special requirements.
• Monitor equipment and finished product to ensure quality and customer specifications.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and production rates.
• Inspect finished products for quality and identify issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production standards.
• Communicate equipment issues and production needs to supervisors.
