Job summary

Pratt Industries in Sandston, VA is hiring for a Folder Gluer, Flexo Press, Rotary Die Cutter, and Jumbo Operator on the 2nd shift. This full-time, hourly role involves setup, operation, and maintenance of complex folding/gluing lines to produce high-quality corrugated boxes.

The position requires factory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong problem-solving skills. Safety, efficiency, and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the manufacturing industry running a machine.
• Experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Must be able to learn and assist in mechanical set up.
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems and assist in necessary repairs.
• Working knowledge of production software, equipment design and capabilities, layouts and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean the folder gluer and related equipment.
• Minimize waste and optimize machine performance.
• Run machines safely to produce quality boxes and meet schedules.
• Check product quality and report defects or issues.
• Complete production data and maintenance reports as required.
