Peraton in McLean, Virginia seeks a FOIA Redaction Analyst to support IC customers onsite. You will respond to FOIA, PA, MDR and ADR requests, including complex cases and litigation, ensuring accurate and compliant document handling.

The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, 5+ years of relevant experience or 9+ years without a degree, and meticulous review of records. You will coordinate with government stakeholders and provide high-quality, timely responses.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BS/BA + 5 years of experience required, or 9+ years of experience with no degree
• Demonstrated experience supporting FOIA, PA, MDR, and/or ADR case processing, including coordination, documentation, drafting correspondence, and interacting with requesters.
• Strong ability to review sensitive government records and ensure compliance with disclosure, privacy, and classification requirements.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce error-free, professionally formatted documents.
• Proficiency with case management tools and document-handling systems; experience with IC or ODNI systems is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document case actions.

Responsabilités

• Respond to FOIA/PA/EO requests for review and release of classified and/or sensitive information under FOIA, PA, EO 13526 and IC policies.
• Respond to complex cases, including FOIA litigation and FOIA appeals.
• Conduct Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) and Automatic Declassification Review (ADR) per EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings, searches, and document collection across IC components and external agencies.
• Validate adequacy of record searches and ensure all relevant facts are captured in case documentation.
• Review case files to ensure required actions (search confirmations, consultations, document reviews) are complete and documented.
• Monitor case progress to meet deadlines and coordinate workflow with government leads.
• Provide high-quality, grammatically correct work requiring minimal government editing.
• Submit signed final response letters to requesters and close cases within three business days of government approval.
• Track and update case status in government tools and provide inputs to annual compliance reports.
• Ensure ODNI information cleared for public release is available for inspection and/or copying.
