Dezign Concepts LLC is seeking an experienced FOIA / Privacy Act Analyst to support the review and release of classified and sensitive information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), EO 13526, and IC policies. The ideal candidate brings strong case-processing experience and exceptional attention to detail.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 9+ years without a degree).

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
  • Experience supporting FOIA, Privacy Act, MDR/ADR case processing and drafting correspondence.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with case management tools; familiarity with IC/ODNI systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for release of classified/sensitive information under FOIA and Privacy Act.
  • Process complex cases including FOIA litigation and appeals with exemptions in mind.
  • Conduct MDR and ADR in accordance with EO 13526.
  • Coordinate searches, document collection, and interactions across IC components and agencies.
  • Ensure case documentation accurately reflects actions and deadlines.

Dezign Concepts is seeking an experienced FOIA / Privacy Act Analyst to support the review and release of classified and sensitive information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), Executive Order 13526, and applicable Intelligence Community policies and procedures. The ideal candidate brings strong case-processing experience, sound judgment when reviewing sensitive government records, and exceptional attention to detail.

What You'll Do
  • Respond to public and official requests for the review and release of classified and/or sensitive customer information under FOIA, the Privacy Act, EO 13526, and applicable IC policies and procedures.
  • Process complex cases, including FOIA litigation and appeals, using extensive knowledge of FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions and administrative requirements.
  • Conduct Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) and Automatic Declassification Review (ADR) in accordance with EO 13526.
  • Coordinate taskings, records searches, and document collection activities across internal IC components and external government agencies.
  • Validate the adequacy of records searches and ensure relevant facts are accurately captured in case documentation.
  • Review case files to confirm required actions—including search confirmations, consultations, document reviews, and correspondence—are complete and properly documented.
  • Monitor case progress, ensure compliance with deadlines, and coordinate workflow with government leads and other stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality, grammatically correct correspondence and analytical work requiring minimal government editing.
  • Submit signed final response letters to requesters and close cases within three business days of government approval.
  • Track and update case status accurately and in a timely manner using customer-designated tools.
  • Provide input to annual compliance reports as directed by the Government.
  • At Government direction and in accordance with applicable law, ensure ODNI information cleared for public release is available for public inspection and/or copying or downloading.
Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Education/Experience: BS/BA degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience with no degree.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting FOIA, Privacy Act, MDR, and/or ADR case processing, including coordination, documentation, drafting correspondence, and interacting with requesters.
  • Strong ability to review sensitive government records and ensure compliance with disclosure, privacy, and classification requirements.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce error-free, professionally formatted documents.
  • Proficiency with case management tools and document-handling systems; experience with IC or ODNI systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately document case actions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FOIA case management within the Intelligence Community.
  • Familiarity with FOIA records tracking systems.
  • Background in legal, paralegal, compliance, or records management disciplines.
