Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a FOIA Analyst based in the United States. This fully remote role manages complex FOIA requests from initial review through final production, applying FOIA regulations and exemptions.

You will work with independence while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with federal requirements, and be prepared for possible hybrid or on-site work at a DOT office in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of FOIA processing experience
• Knowledge of FOIA rules, exemptions, and procedures (b)(4),(b)(5),(b)(6),(b)(7)
• Experience with FOIAXpress and document review

Responsibilities

• Process complex FOIA requests end-to-end for a federal agency.
• Review and analyze documents to identify responsive records.
• Identify and handle confidential information and PII in accordance with FOIA.
• Apply FOIA exemptions when reviewing records for production.
• Ensure deadlines and accuracy in processing requests.
• Conduct research to support informed disclosure decisions.
• Support additional duties as needed under the statement of work.
• Maintain flexibility for potential hybrid or on-site work at a DOT office.
