Job summary

Leisnoi, Inc. seeks a FOIA Analyst to support DISA by handling FOIA/PA requests using eDiscovery tools, redaction tech, and specialized case management software. The role requires coordinating with IT and legal teams to locate documents and respond with official letters.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in eDiscovery or FOIA processing within DoD/IC, with an active DoD Secret clearance and SIPRNET access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Cyber Policy, Business Admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in eDiscovery, digital FOIA processing, or electronic records management within the DoD or IC.
• Proficiency with FOIAXpress, Adobe Acrobat Pro (redaction), Microsoft 365 eDiscovery, and cloud-based case management.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required to access DISA systems and review sensitive IT records.
• SIPRNET access required to search and process responsive records.
• Familiarity with FOIA statute 5 U.S.C § 552, DoD 5400.07, and FOIA exemptions 1–9.

Responsibilities

• eDiscovery & Data Extraction: Use IL5-approved platforms to query, filter, and extract ESI across DISA networks, SharePoint data lakes, and internal clouds.
• FOIA IT System Management: Operate FOIA case management systems to track lifecycles, log communications, and generate reports.
• SOP Development: Create Records Management SOPs, quick guides, and updates manuals.
• Digital Redaction & QA: Apply redactions to PII/CUI, ensure metadata scrubbed, and protect file properties.
• Digital Deduplication: Use AI tools to deduplicate, analyze threads in enterprise emails, and filter for responsive records.
• Technical Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with DISA admins, engineers, and data owners to locate architecture diagrams and policy docs.
• Draft Government Response Letters: Prepare official release determinations for review and signature.
