Job summary

McMenamins Spar Cafe is hiring for an Assistant-Assistant Manager (AAM) to help run the pub under the Pub Manager. The role covers opening/closing duties, hosting, taking orders, serving guests, and ensuring smooth shift operations with strong customer relations.

The AAM may work outdoors seasonally and indoors, supervise staff, manage sections, handle cashiering and POS, and support managers in operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of wine, ales and spirits.
• 21+ years.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all pub operations under the Pub Manager.
• Open and close duties of the Pub and supervise the shift.
• Host guests, take and serve orders, cashier and operate POS.
• Train staff and ensure guest satisfaction; coordinate with managers.
