Job summary

McMenamins Sand Trap Pub in Gearhart, OR is seeking an Assistant-Assistant Manager (AAM) to support the Pub Manager in daily operations and guest relations.

This part-time position requires flexibility, a willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and solid knowledge of wine, ales and spirits. The AAM will supervise staff, help host, and ensure smooth shifts while upholding McMenamins standards.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license
• 21+ years
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent knowledge of wine, ales and spirits is required
• Available to work FT with a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist in all pub operations under the guidance and direction of the Pub Manager
• Oversee the smooth and effective running of the shift and act as host
• Take orders, deliver staff service, and cashier using the POS system
• Set up, stock, and organize service areas; regulate labor and side work
• Train staff and perform administrative duties; report issues to management
