Common Bond Cafe in Houston is seeking a Front-of-House Supervisor to lead the guest experience and support the General Manager. This full-time role requires a high school diploma and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced bakery cafe.

You will supervise front-of-house operations, ensure high-quality service, and develop staff while upholding sanitation, safety, and beverage/food standards. Flexible hours include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Food handler certification and TABC where required by code.
• Must be able to learn quickly and follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills with ability to build relationships.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform flexible shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and understand their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of baked goods and the menu.
• Supervise front-of-house to uphold standards.
• Address guest concerns professionally to convert to returns.
• Inform GM of shortages before items run out.
• Enforce sanitation and comply with laws.
• Ensure consistently high quality service.
• Maintain professional restaurant image and appearance.
• Develop employees with feedback and expectations.
• Take orders and package items efficiently.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Rotate stock using FIFO.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Work flexibly including mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Meet store policies on beverages/food, cash handling, safety.
• Prepare and package items to high-quality recipes.
• Perform varied tasks during shifts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
