Common Bond Bistro & Bakery is seeking a Front-of-House Supervisor for its Rice Village location. The role oversees front-of-house operations, greets guests, and ensures service standards are met in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a high school diploma, availability for flexible hours, and offers $15.00-$18.00 per hour with tips eligible. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid time off and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Food handler's certification and TABC where required by health code regulations.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and engage with guests to identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of baked goods and the menu.
• Supervise front-of-house and uphold standards of excellence and hospitality.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally and turn dissatisfaction into repeat visits.
• Inform General Manager of shortages before items run out.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness in line with laws.
• Ensure consistent high quality service and professional restaurant image.
• Develop employees with feedback and performance expectations.
• Take orders and package items accurately.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables.
