Waters Edge Winery Midlothian is seeking an experienced Shift Lead to oversee daily guest-facing operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will manage the host team, servers, and bartenders while upholding high standards of service, organization, and hospitality.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Competenze

• Previous experience in restaurant front of house or hospitality leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with POS systems and reservation platforms preferred.
• Wine knowledge or interest in wine preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily front of house operations including host stand, dining room, and bar service.
• Lead, train, and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table flow to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain a welcoming and polished dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new front of house staff.
• Monitor service quality and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Support special events, tastings, and private bookings.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including wine, food, and specials.
