Waters Edge Winery & Bistro in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced Wine Ambassador to oversee bar operations, manage daily service, and provide tastings to guests, ensuring an exceptional beverage experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and beverage service, plus leadership experience in hospitality. Responsibilities include inventory, menu updates, staff training, and compliance with alcohol laws and sanitation.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Wine Ambassador, Lead Bartender, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and beverage service.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory tracking preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and beverage offerings.
• Assist guests with beverage recommendations, including wine pairings.
• Monitor inventory levels and place beverage orders as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of wine, beer, and spirits.
• Create and update cocktail menus and seasonal beverage offerings.
• Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area.
• Collaborate with management on promotions, events, and wine tastings.
• Track and manage bar costs, waste, and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling and staff coverage as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
