Job summary

Holland America-Princess (Holland America Dawson City Inn) in Anchorage is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead daily restaurant service, support shift execution, and model the Gold Standard of guest experience. This hourly leadership role works with the FOH Manager and General Manager to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency, coaching servers, bartenders and hosts.

Key duties include opening/closing, overseeing seating and service flow, enforcing sanitation and alcohol service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Must have or obtain TAPS and Alaska Food Handler or ServSafe certifications.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room flow and staff coordination during service.
• Lead shifts, coach team members, and uphold standards.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and compliance with alcohol service.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and restocking.
• Support management and implement company initiatives.
