Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality is opening a modern American steakhouse in New York and is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in daily front-of-house operations. You will oversee planning, training, and organization of the restaurant workforce to deliver exceptional hospitality.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a high-volume setting, strong guest service skills, and the ability to train and coach FOH staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
• Friendly, professional, outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training frontline staff.
• Coach front-of-house managers and assist in their development.
• Ensure opening and closing duties are completed to company standards.
• Communicate product needs to the General Manager and oversee service flows.
