Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Engineering experience across manufacturing operations is expected.
• US citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly of focal plane arrays and optical components from design through shipment.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support, translating drawings into build plans.
• Create and maintain bills of materials, process flow travelers, and work instructions.
• Develop assembly planning and tooling concepts to support production.
• Manage process and tooling activities; dispositions of defective materials; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and design engineering to meet quality standards.
• Support first article inspections to ensure program requirements are met.
• Work in a semiconductor cleanroom with proper cleanroom procedures.
• Lead projects as part of an Integrated Product Team to meet program goals.
