Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a Panel Foamer to set up panels and materials for foam production at our Wisconsin facility. The role involves preparing jigs, selecting metals, applying materials, recording production, and inspecting panels for alignment and defects.

Qualifications include reading blueprints, using tape measures, following safety procedures, and working well in a team. The position offers benefits and opportunities within a growing, employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must understand & follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements.
• Ability to use small hand tools efficiently and safely.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to accurately figure shot times.
• Ability to operate all foam jigs efficiently.
• Ability to communicate in a team setting and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Foaming standard, stock and custom panels.
• Select correct metal for panels.
• Accurately apply proper materials to panels in metal prep.
• Accurately set up jigs for panel foaming.
• Keep proper records of panels produced as required.
• Clean excess foam/material off panel and inspect for proper alignment and defects.
• Other duties as assigned.
