Job summary

Johnston County Department of Social Services seeks an Income Maintenance Supervisor II for FNS application processing. You will oversee staff, ensure timely and accurate eligibility determinations, and maintain documentation in NC FAST.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, coaching staff, and implementing process improvements in coordination with Quality Assurance and program leadership. Requires supervisory experience and strong knowledge of FNS policies.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of FNS eligibility policies, rules, and procedures.
• Experience with NC FAST, FNS application processing, and QA basics.
• Ability to analyze data to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, leadership, training, and oversight to FNS application processing staff.
• Monitor workload, timeliness, accuracy, and policy compliance; drive continuous improvement.
• Coach staff, address performance, and ensure proper documentation in NC FAST.
• Communicate with leadership, staff, customers, and partners; resolve escalated issues.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of staff; ensure consistency across program areas.
