Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a seasoned Journeyman Budget Analyst (Key Personnel) to support the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on financial execution and management of FMS programs, ensuring budget formulations, case tracking, and execution metrics comply with naval policies and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has DoD budgeting experience, DoN policy knowledge, and the ability to work within DoN financial systems

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–10 years of budget evaluation, financial analysis, and accounting report verification.
• Strong analytical, spreadsheet, and communication skills for concise leadership reports.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate budget estimates for conformance with Navy policies and DoD FM regulations.
• Manage DoN FMS case documents, develop and track obligation/expenditure plans.
• Analyze budgeting and accounting reports to generate program status and financial analyses.
• Utilize DoN financial systems to process, reconcile, and monitor funding.
• Align financial objectives with acquisition milestones using FAR and PPBE processes.
