Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage logistics, inventory and warehousing for its FMCG operations in Welkom. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitor stock levels and optimize costs across the end-to-end supply chain.

The role demands strong organization, communication with suppliers, and proficiency in SCM software and MS Office. You will drive efficiency, reduce stockouts, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor transportation schedules and costs, seeking opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding logistics and warehousing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise, proactively identifying potential problems.
