Job summary

Haleon is seeking a First Line Leader to develop and lead a team of operators in a fast-moving consumer goods production environment. The role directly supports Haleon’s safety, quality and service objectives and requires strong leadership to drive engagement and performance.

You will oversee development plans, conduct performance management, and ensure adherence to cGMP while working with SAP and other Haleon systems to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area (Preferred)
• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent with a combination of 5 years of relevant experience
• Self-starter/Self-motivated with ability to work with little supervision
• Willingness to work extended hours and/or off shifts to achieve results
• Effective communication at all levels of the organization to influence others
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop business solutions
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience with SAP inventory control
• Demonstrated project management skills and leadership
• Knowledge of cGMP and FDA-regulated environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration
• Ability to conduct training on production floor or in classroom
• Quality initiatives experience incl. validation, deviations, root cause analysis, change control

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership of a team in a fast-moving FMCG production environment
• Foster an environment ensuring safety, quality, compliance and output
• Continuously improve the capability of the team
• Engage and inspire staff with regular feedback
• Ensure development plans using Haleon’s approach
• Set expectations on behavior and performance
• Identify key talent and apply to talent planning
• Responsible for performance management
• Review resources and assist in recruitment/hiring
• Model expected behaviors and standards for all staff
• Set target conditions and deliver improvements in performance
• Real-time issue identification and resolution with staff
• Drive problem solving with staff and support functions
• Understand the budget for the area
• Adopt Leader Standard Work
• Maintain Haleon systems (SAP, Pas-X, CH Pack, Workday)
