Job summary

Haleon in St. Louis, MO is seeking a High-Performance Team member to support all aspects of packaging operations and product quality in a safe environment.

The role focuses on operating packaging lines, performing quality and safety checks, and maintaining compliance with the Quality System and Haleon policies. SAP experience and teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a production environment.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department daily.
  • Perform routine quality checks against specifications.
  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure equipment safety.
  • Ensure processes meet Quality System standards and procedures.
  • Comply with Haleon environmental, health and safety policies.
  • Achieve performance targets for packaging lines.
  • Participate in root-cause analyses for deviations.
  • Assist with preventive and autonomous maintenance on lines.
  • Support line changeovers to meet department needs.
  • Contribute to 5S and cleaning activities per GMP.
  • SAP functions: Batch reconciliation, cycle counts, material movements, inventory control.

About the role

Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance in order to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all Haleon policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
  • Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standard of the Quality System.
  • Comply with and support the Haleon Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.
  • Participate in RCA for deviations.
  • Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.
  • Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
  • Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
  • Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
  • SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.

Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a production environment
Preferred Requirements
  • Technical degree or certification preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
  • Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills
  • Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set. Able to function productively with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational skills and interest in project management
  • Ability to operate computer applications preferred
  • Detail-oriented

This role is located onsite at our St. Louis, MO facility. The shift is for Monday - Thursday 8P until 6:30A.
