Job Description:
The Fly Console Operator serves primarily as the fly console operator for performances at the Boston Conservatory Theater at Berklee. This position will attend all technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and performances. Depending upon production needs, this position may also need to serve the functions of deck carpenter/electrician, in the event needs arise during a performance. They will ensure the stage, workshop, and orchestra pit remain maintained, clean, and functional. Hours range from 40-60 hours per production, with overtime after 40 hours in a calendar work-week.
The Boston Conservatory at Berklee features 15 automated line sets, 2 hand lines, and 1 crank line. Automated line sets are run from a JR Clancy Scene Control 500. Console training will be provided. As part of the Performance Services department, the Stage Supervisor reports to the Technical Directors and Stage Managers.
Pay Range: $22-$25/hr
