DCS Engineer

Role: As a DCS Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining DCS systems within a life science manufacturing or research environment. You will lead projects related to DeltaV, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and provide technical support.

Location:

Remote within the US.

Roles and Responsibilities/Qualifications:
  1. Experience with DeltaV: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DeltaV systems.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
  3. Automation Knowledge: Strong understanding of automation principles, including DCS, PLCs, and related technologies.
  4. Validation and Compliance: Knowledge of validation and compliance standards such as cGMP, GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  5. Project Management: Skills in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing projects.
  6. Technical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues effectively.
  7. Communication and Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  8. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for DeltaV systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  9. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DeltaV into manufacturing or research processes.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements within the DeltaV system and processes.
  11. Training: Educate operators and engineers on DeltaV system usage.
Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Applications are accepted until May 18th, 2025. The position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
