Job summary

Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence team seeks a Fluids Systems Engineer to advance MK1 propulsion and fluids integration for lunar mobility. You will work with a skilled IPT to analyze, design, and verify subsystems, balancing performance, safety, and manufacturability.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 3+ years in fluids or propulsion, plus strong communication and teamwork. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required for access and program security.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of fluids, propulsion, or aerospace systems experience.
• Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, regulators, pumps).
• Strong systems engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; US citizen or eligible to work in US.

Responsibilities

• Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems within the Fluids and Propulsion IPT.
• Own subsystem level documentation and analyses with verification data.
• Update subsystem architecture diagrams, schematics, and communicate changes.
• Apply systems engineering across concept to test lifecycle.
• Integrate fluids and propulsion with overall vehicle design and operations.
• Support development and execution of component and subsystem tests.
• Lead trade studies and design/integration tasks in fluids systems.
