Job summary

Blue Origin in Kent, WA is seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, development, manufacturing and testing of fluid subsystem hardware for the New Glenn vehicle. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to meet cost, performance, and schedule targets while ensuring safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, P&ID, FEA, thermal and fluid analyses, test planning and collaboration with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to deliver world-class

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field required.
• 2+ years in aerospace propulsion or fluid domain.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred).
• Experience with FEA tools for pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid component hardware to meet cost, performance, and schedule constraints.
• Design and route fluid subsystems (pressurization, pneumatics, coolant, propellant utilization).
• Create CAD models, P&ID, drawings, and interface control documents.
• Perform FEA and fluid system modeling and analysis.
• Develop test plans and documentation for flight hardware.
