Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced mechanical/ aerospace engineer to design and sustain fluid subsystems for the New Glenn program. You will lead the end-to-end design cycle, from thermo-fluid modeling to hardware installation and testing, ensuring safety and mission success.

Responsibilities include supporting production, triaging issues, and coordinating requirements and schedules with internal stakeholders. Strong CAD, PDM, and testing planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
  • 3+ years in detailed design / development of aerospace or similar fluid systems.
  • Experience leading multi-person development projects and managing requirements, scope, and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop fluid subsystems through concept, modeling, layout, integration, testing, and mission support.
  • Support production by triaging stoppages, root-cause analysis, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware.
  • Lead team effort to define requirements, dependencies, and schedules for fluid hardware development.
