Job summary

United Rentals in Boise, ID, is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to act as a key customer contact and consultant at our Fluid Solutions branch. You will be dedicated to fluid solutions equipment rental and supply needs, advising on solutions, quoting, selling, and fulfilling orders based on customer requirements.

You will build relationships, provide outstanding customer service, and help drive branch growth. The role emphasizes sales, teamwork, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligent attention to safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of the rental business related to specialty engineered rental products and services, including pumps.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with all inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Other duties as needed.
