Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies' Applied Fluid Power network is seeking a Fluid Power Technical Support Representative to join our US service center team in Portland. You will apply hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge to deliver technical solutions, quotes and product recommendations by phone and email, supporting internal sales and customer growth.

You will collaborate with Fluid Power Specialists, read drawings, troubleshoot, and help build a knowledge base while communicating clearly with

Qualifications

3+ years fluid power experience in hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience using MS Office and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Consult with Fluid Power Specialists and internal teams to present fluid power solutions to drive new business.
Provide internal customers with interchanges, replacements, dataset processing and product recommendations; quote products and systems.
Assist presales with product selection and technical information for customers.
Serve as a local technical fluid power expert at the service center and support supplier interactions.
Help develop the fluid power knowledge base with applications and case histories.
