Job summary

SunSource invites driven engineers to start a career in its Grow Our Own (GO2) Sales Training Program, based at the Mobile Engineering Center in Savage, MN. You will rotate through Fluid Power disciplines, learning products and systems used in heavy equipment, including construction and agricultural machinery.

During the first year you will gain hands-on experience in prospecting, account management, and joint calls with senior Account Managers, with clear paths for career growth and mentorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Agribusiness, or related field.
• Experience or coursework in Fluid Power, Fluid Process, or Fluid Conveyance preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated clear communication, presentation, and phone skills.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for 18 months to Savage, MN at the Fluid Mobile headquarters and after GO2 training.

Responsibilities

• Receive ongoing mentorship and professional development including becoming Fluid Power Certified.
• Provided in-depth product training and learn full cycle outside sales skills.
• Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions.
