Some flow cytometry experience preferred.
Candidates may be considered for Technologist I or II based on experience (≤2 yrs vs >2 yrs).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivation to learn in a highly sophisticated lab setting.

Responsibilities

Perform technical duties in all laboratory sections as assigned.
Review test orders and verify specimen accuracy.
Maintain digital files in a neat, accessible manner.
Ensure specimen identity from entry to release of results.
Navigate laboratory information systems proficiently.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the lab and restock supplies as needed.
Adhere to SOPs to ensure test accuracy; perform routine equipment maintenance.
Manage the lab environment in compliance with NYS DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA and CLIA.
Provide direction, training, and feedback on routine procedures.
