Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY is seeking a Laboratory Technologist I or II for the Flow Cytometry Laboratory. You will perform technical duties across laboratory sections, review orders, and maintain specimen integrity and digital records.

Qualifications

• New York State CLT license (flow cytometry allowed).
• Bachelor degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical duties in all laboratory sections, as assigned.
• Review test orders and verify specimen accuracy.
• Maintain digital files in a neat, accessible manner.
• Maintain specimen identity from entry to release of results.
• Navigate laboratory information systems proficiently.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the laboratory.
• Restock reagents and supplies as necessary.
• Ensure accuracy of tests by following SOPs.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Comply with NY state DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA and CLIA regulations.
• Provide direction, training, and feedback on routine lab procedures.
