Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories in Florida seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist I – Flow Cytometry. You will perform highly complex testing under supervision, assess specimen acceptability, prepare specimens, and identify problems.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical/physical/biological sciences (or Medical Technology) with one year of lab experience; ASCP generalist eligibility and state licenses are expected. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with at least one year of laboratory experience or training is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• Eligible for ASCP generalist license at graduation; state license eligibility in FL/CA.

Responsibilities

• Documents corrective actions when test systems deviate from specifications.
• Suggests improvements to efficiency and productivity; provides feedback.
• Maintains a clean, functional laboratory and schedules equipment maintenance.
• Participates in continuing education.
• Analyzes specimens and reviews/releases test results.
• Prepares stock solutions, reagents, and cocktails; performs testing per criteria.
