Job summary

NeoGenomics invites qualified candidates for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Flow Cytometry role. The position requires analyzing specimens, reviewing and releasing test results, and preparing stock solutions used for testing according to standard criteria.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in a relevant science, with ASCP generalist eligibility and potential preference for Medical Technology graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with at least one year of laboratory experience or training.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• Eligibility for ASCP generalist license required at time of graduation.
• Eligibility for state licensure to perform laboratory testing (Florida or California).
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from Howard University.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Documents all corrective actions when test systems deviate from specifications.
• Demonstrates initiative in suggesting improvements to efficiency and productivity.
• Maintains laboratory in a clean, functional state and coordinates maintenance/certification of equipment.
• Participates in continuing education.
