Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Technologist I to join the Flow Cytometry team in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports testing and analysis with a Tuesday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm schedule and a Saturday shift from 12pm-8:30pm.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science and either one year of clinical lab testing or an MLS degree. ASCP/AMT preferred; two years of experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, CLIA & State requirements.
• One year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Resolve pendings, verify specimens, and document discrepancies; notify management if unresolved.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
