Job summary

Labcorp in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Technologist to join our clinical team. You will determine specimen acceptability, perform routine and complex procedures, monitor instruments and report results to support patient care.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology and 1+ year in clinical lab testing, preferably in Flow Cytometry; ASCP or AMT certification is a plus. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience in Flow Cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow quality control practices.
