Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join the Flow Cytometry team in Indianapolis, IN. The role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures timely, accurate test results, and mentors laboratory personnel.

Ideal candidates hold a life science degree with 6+ years of clinical lab experience and Flow Cytometry expertise, plus supervisory background. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or Life Science.
• Six years or more of clinical laboratory experience.
• ASCP and/or AMT certifications preferred.
• Two+ years Flow Cytometry experience preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations of the Flow Cytometry Lab in Indianapolis.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department.
• Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed.
• Research and resolve production errors while escalating when necessary.
