Jobtailor is seeking a Flow Cytometry Specialist to perform complex testing on blood, bone marrow, and other clinical specimens using flow cytometry techniques. You will operate instruments, analyze data, and ensure quality control to support diagnostic reports.

The role involves routine specimen processing, instrument maintenance, and occasional teaching activities for students rotating through the section. Strong attention to accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with flow cytometry-based testing and reporting.
• Ability to run and interpret flow cytometry data.
• Quality control and data analysis responsibilities.
• Experience handling clinical specimens.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing and analysis of blood, bone marrow, tissue, and other clinical specimens using flow cytometry methodologies.
• Process, stain, and analyze routine specimens.
• Operate flow cytometry instruments and maintain them in good working order.
• Perform quality control and data analysis to support accurate reporting.
• Identify and notify supervisor of instrument malfunctions and assist in instrument repair as needed.
• Report results accurately to support diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.
• Participate on a limited basis in student teaching and assist rotating personnel.
