Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Flow Cytometry Analyst who is a licensed Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). You will perform day-to-day flow cytometry analysis and reporting, and handle specimen processing in the Laboratory, consulting with higher-level staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• National certification as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Flow Cytometry or as a Medical Technologist (MT) by ASCP or equivalent.
• Must maintain continuing education for certification/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and technical interpretation of flow cytometry data in the clinical lab.
• Communicate results and interpretations with pathologists and compile clinical reports.
• Assist with administrative functions such as ordering supplies and inventory control.
• Adhere to lab safety and QA/QC procedures and test performance guidelines.
• Work with other departments within PathGroup and its subsidiaries.
