Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in Brentwood, TN to lead the Flow Cytometry Department with a Monday–Friday night shift. You will supervise daily operations, ensure test accuracy, and mentor staff, aligning with CLIA and CAP standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science and 4+ years in clinical lab testing; supervisory experience and ASCP/AMT certification preferred. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Flow Cytometry Department.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results reported timely.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel.
• Monitor daily workflow and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Ensure shifts are properly staffed and payroll/personal files maintained.
• Maintain quality assurance records and QC of equipment.
