Job summary

GAINSCO seeks a results-driven Territory Development Manager to grow policy production in the Tampa/Orlando area. You will drive growth through independent agencies, using a mix of emails, calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to execute a comprehensive contact strategy.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience, with insurance sales a plus, and the ability to influence agents and manage commission programs. A valid driver’s license and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of successful sales experience.
• Experience with insurance sales is a plus.
• Ability to influence agents to increase territory production.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Make a targeted number of contacts daily via various channels.
• Review agency performance and coach for continuous improvement.
• Manage agency contests and quarterly bonus programs.
• Set goals for each agent and develop strategies to meet them.
• Conduct commission conversations with agency owners to optimize levels.
• Review commission statements and manage territory footprint targets.
• Identify and appoint agents in desired areas.
• Travel about 25% for field activities and meetings.
