Job summary

Orion180 Insurance Services LLC is seeking a results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to expand our agency network across our service states. You’ll recruit agencies, onboard them onto the Orion180 platform, and drive premium growth while managing key relationships with producers and staff.

You will communicate with influence, share underwriting guidance, and collaborate with Customer Service and Underwriting to ensure a positive agent and policyholder experience. Travel up to 25% is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance, mortgage industry sales, or business development.
• Active P&C license or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and processes.
• Clear, effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly self-motivated with strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support Agency Onboarding: Partner with Onboarding Team to integrate new agencies into the Orion180 platform.
• Drive Growth: Promote Orion180 products to independent agencies to increase premium and policy count.
• Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, producers, CSRs, and support staff.
• Communicate With Influence: Deliver clear, confident verbal and written communication including webinars and trainings.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide guidance on underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Customer Service and Underwriting to resolve issues.
• Monitor & Report Performance: Create and interpret Excel-based reports to track metrics.
• Stay Market-Aware: Keep current with market conditions and regulatory changes.
• Analyze & Optimize Territory Results: Evaluate performance trends and implement improvements.
