Westcor Land Title Insurance Company is seeking a Regional Underwriting Counsel for Florida to lead a team of underwriting counsels and manage title risk across residential and commercial transactions.

Applicants should hold a Juris Doctor, be in good standing with the Florida Bar, and possess at least 5 years of Florida real property and title insurance experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver underwriting solutions and compliance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Strong knowledge of Florida real property law and the title insurance industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of underwriting counsels.
• Provide underwriting guidance to ensure consistent risk evaluation and decisioning.
• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns.
• Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales team, and title examiners.
• Present training seminars to educate title agents and production staff.
