Factory Direct Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Florida team. You will develop new business and provide consultative support to contractors across South Florida's construction market, focusing on structural steel, rebar, and related products.

Ideal candidates bring proven outside sales experience in building materials, a hunter mindset, and the ability to manage complex projects with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience in construction/building materials.
• Hunter mentality with strong prospecting and business development skills.
• Consultative sales approach to understand complex project requirements.
• Knowledge of CSI divisions 3-7 or construction industry familiarity.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and Develop: actively prospect and build relationships with Division 3–7 contractors.
• Consultative Selling: provide technical expertise and solutions-based selling to support customer project needs.
• Market Coverage: serve residential, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure projects.
• Relationship Management: build partnerships with general contractors, shell contractors, and specialty concrete/masonry contractors.
• Territory Development: expand market share through strategic account development and new customer acquisition.
