Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services with compassion and professionalism. You will prepare, position, and image patients, administer contrast as needed, and document findings in MEDITECH.

The role requires ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications, a valid Florida licensure (CRT), BLS, and 1–3 years MRI experience. On-call responsibilities may apply, with a strong focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year, AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of prior MRI Technologist experience.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of MRI equipment and obtain high-quality MR images.
• Select technical factors/techniques and administer contrast material as appropriate.
• Position patients and ensure modesty and safety with equipment and devices.
• Document clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete MEDITECH fields.
• Maintain communication with patients, radiologists and care teams.
