Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Florida-licensed CT Technologist for a full-time, on-site role. You will provide computerized tomography services per physician orders under the radiologist, performing scans of brain, spine, chest, abdomen, and extremities with focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications include a 24-month Radiologic Technology program, Florida licensure (CRT), ARRT CT (preferred), and BLS. 1–3 years radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program (AMA-approved).
• ARRT CT certification (preferred).
• Florida licensure (CRT) by the Department of Health.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1–3 years of diagnostic radiology experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Operate CT scanner, contrast injector, and related equipment.
• Position patients and obtain informed consent while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Document clinical information and ensure high-quality CT images for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and be available for on-call duties as needed.
