Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Aviation Infrastructure Leader for Florida to drive airport planning, design, and program management excellence. You will lead large-scale projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with clients and agencies to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires extensive aviation experience, leadership, and the ability to manage budget, schedule, and multidisciplinary teams across Florida locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in airport infrastructure design and project management.
• Florida PE license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact pursuits in Florida’s aviation market—identify opportunities, build winning teams, and secure major contracts.
• Grow our brand by engaging with industry organizations like AAAE, ACI, FAC, ASCE, ACEC, and WTS.
• Develop and negotiate proposals as project issues arise with clients or reviewing agencies.
• Oversee project delivery with a focus on quality, budget, and schedule.
• Mentor the next generation of aviation engineers.
• Liaise with airport authorities, counties, and cities.
