Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Aviation Infrastructure Leader for Florida to drive innovation, growth, and excellence in airport planning, design, and construction management. This role focuses on large-scale airport programs across the state, coordinating across disciplines and clients to deliver high-impact projects.

Based in Florida with flexibility for Tampa or other Florida locations, you will lead proposals, grow our aviation practice, mentor teams, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in airport infrastructure design, project management.
• PE license in Florida (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Experience delivering projects for airports in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation market pursuits in Florida and secure major contracts.
• Develop proposals and SOQs for airport projects.
• Mentor and manage project teams across disciplines.
• Oversee project delivery, quality, budget, schedule.
• Engage with airport authorities, counties, and cities.
• Serve as Project Manager or Project Director on major airport projects.
