Job summary

Long-Lewis Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Group Recruiting Assistant Manager in Florence, AL to run full-cycle recruiting for dealership roles, coordinate onboarding, and streamline the hiring process. You will manage intake calls with hiring managers, craft ads, prescreen candidates, and schedule interviews across multiple locations.

Required is a minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience in a multi-location setting and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time recruiting experience in a multi-location organization.
• Automotive dealership recruiting experience is a plus.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to organize and manage recruiting in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Responsibilities

• Hold intake calls with hiring managers to define each role, must-haves and timeline.
• Write, post, sponsor and refresh job ads across boards and social channels.
• Prescreen candidates with structured questions and move qualified people forward quickly.
• Schedule and coordinate onsite and final interviews with hiring teams.
• Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles through schools, referrals and events.
• Extend offers and keep candidates informed through start date.
• Support locations in planning staffing needs across locations.
• Track hiring metrics (time to fill, time per hire, offer acceptance, 90-day retention).
• Lead process improvements to cut manual work (e-signatures, intake fields, reminders).
• Ensure hiring practices are fair, compliant with employment law.

Automotive Group Recruiting Assistant Manager

As the Automotive Group Recruiting Assistant Manager, you will run full-cycle recruiting for dealership roles, such as sales, service and technician positions. You will also coordinate a smooth onboarding experience and find ways to make our hiring process faster and simpler.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed below to be considered for this position. A minimum of 2 years of full-time recruiting experience in a multi-location organization is required. Automotive dealership recruiting experience is a plus.

Candidates must be organized, proactive, professional, and experienced in managing recruiting needs in a fast-paced, multi-location work environment.

This will be an hourly position. Compensation Range: $50K-$60K
